Amman, Jordan – April 22, 2018 – Tamatem Inc., the leading mobile games publisher in the Arabic speaking market, today announced a new partnership with global games developer Game Insight. This new venture will bring a localized version of Game Insight’s hit mobile game Airport City to Arab gamers.
Airport City is a Sim/Tycoon mobile game that lets players build and manage a modern airport, send flights to different cities all over the world, and create a city to support their international gateway. The localized Arabic version of Airport City will be available for both iOS and Android.
The MENA’s (Middle East and North Africa) mobile gaming market is expected to become a $2.3 billion industry by 2022. Currently, the market is underserved, with less than 1% of games on app stores available in Arabic. With this new partnership, Tamatem Inc. and Game Insight will work together to publish an Arabic version of Airport City.
“I believe that Arabic mobile users will enjoy Airport City, as it offers an exceptional experience for players to interact with each other and build their own modern-day empires,” said Tamatem founder and CEO, Hussam Hammo. “This collaboration marks the beginning of a great alliance between Tamatem and Game Insight.”
Tamatem is the leading mobile games publisher in the MENA market. We partner with international studios and developers, take their games, localize them and make them culturally relevant for the Arabic gamer. In 2017, Tamatem became part of the Endeavor network and won Ernest & Young’s Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.
